Olga Trufanova, member of the GS OSES/UR, succesfully defended her doctoral thesis on "Absorbing the Asian Frontier: Food and food-related knowledge in seventeenth and eighteenth century Siberia". Supervisors: Prof. Dr. Guido Hausmann (UR) and Prof. Dr. Julia Herzberg (Leipzig)
