"Schnittstellen" Book Series
Schnittstellen. Studien zum östlichen und südöstlichen Europa.
"It is extremely gratifying that the 'Schnittstellen' series facilitates the rapid publication of the many innovative dissertations that are being created within the Graduate School for East and Southeast European Studies."
Peter Bugge in Bohemia 57 (1), 2017
The Schnittstellen: Studien zum östlichen und südöstlichen Europa book series is edited on behalf of the Graduate School by its founding directors Professor Martin Schulze Wessel and Professor Ulf Brunnbauer. It has been running since 2014 and is published by the renowned academic publisher "Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht". The series mainly serves to publish revised dissertation theses that have been successfully completed by members of the Graduate School, or affiliated programmes, that meet high quality criteria of the publication. This makes Schnittstellen an interdisciplinary project, publishing manuscripts on the history, literature, culture, politics and social organisation of East and Southeast Europe. It also highlights transnational entanglements within the region and between East and Southeast Europe and other world regions.
