Welcoming Event

On Thursday, April 28th, we welcome our new PhD candidates and Pre-doctoral researchers at the Graduate School of Eastern And Southeastern European Studies.

The event will be opened at 11am by Prof. Dr. Ulf Brunnbauer (Speaker of the GS OSESUR), Prof. Dr. Ursula Regener (Vice President for Internationalizationand Diversity), Dr. Angela Weil-Jung (Head of Zentrum zur Förderung des wissenschaftlichen Nachwuchses der Universität Regensburg, WIN) andDr. Birgit Hawelka (Head of Zentrum für Hochschul- und Wissenschaftsdidaktik, ZHW).

After that our new PhD candidates will be presenting themselves and their research topics.

In the afternoon at 2pm Prof. Dr. Anna Mazurkiewicz (Gdansk) will hold a lecture on „'Cold War Instruments'? Exiles from East Central Europe in U.S. political warfare"

To end the day, we will have Meet & Greet in the AlFi Courtyard (Landshuterstr. 4, 93047 Regensburg) where food and drinks will also be provided.
