Curriculum Vitae
Born in Brno (Czech Republic). Doctorate (PhDr.) at the Masaryk University in Brno on the means of expression of irony from a pragmalinguistic point of view, subsequently doctorate (Dr. phil.) at the Free University of Berlin. Habilitation in Brno. Since 1998 professor of Bohemian and Western Slavic Studies at Universität Regensburg and director of Bohemianum Regensburg/Passau.
